Zapata lost to Shinsho Anzai via TKO at 0:43 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Saitama, Japan.
ANALYSIS
In his first professional fight in 27 months, Zapata was truly awful. He generated virtually no offense and spent the vast majority of the ten-plus minutes being outmuscled by his Japanese opponent. To make matters worse, the finish came when Zapata appeared to break a finger while attempting to punch the side of Anzai's head. Zapata could easily find himself unemployed after this effort.
