Samba Coulibaly lost to Mihail Nica via submission (Anaconda Choke) at 0:36 of Round 1 at Bellator 176 in Italy on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Coulibaly looked to tie Mica up after eating a leg kick, but quickly had the position reversed, and was unable to scramble free once the choke was in. Coulibaly was making his debut on short notice, so it will be interesting to see what Bellator does with him going forward. Coulibaly's professional MMA record drops to 11-5 as a result of the loss.
