Ham lost to Danielle Taylor via split decision (28-29, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Melbourne, Australia.
ANALYSIS
Two of the three judges had this for Taylor, which seems to be a stretch at best. In the first two rounds, Ham was advancing and getting the better of the striking. In the final round, Ham received an eye poke from Taylor. She signaled the referee, but he ignored it. Taylor used the opportunity to land her best punches of the fight. Ham has now dropped back-to-back close decisions.

Ham lost to Bec Rawlings via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Brisbane, Australia.
ANALYSIS
Ham did a nice job of eating a heap load of power strikes from Rawlings, but she spent nearly a full round on her back and although she won the total strike battle by a count of 119-90, there just wasn't enough authority behind anything that she threw. Ham is in good shape and a very active fighter (she attempted a ridiculous 276 strikes on Saturday), but the natural ability just isn't there. Ham is now 1-2 in the UFC, but she certainly deserves another shot with the company.

Ham defeated Cortney Casey via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night 79 on Saturday in Seoul, South Korea.
ANALYSIS
Ham emerged victorious in an entertaining three-round war between excellent Strawweight strikers. After getting rocked by a thunderous headkick in the first round, Ham recovered to apply pressure on the counter-striking Casey in rounds two and three. Using spinning techniques and displaying ruthless aggression at Casey's expense, Ham earned her "Hamderlei Silva" moniker in front of the hometown fans. Expect a significant step up in competition, assuming she remains in the Strawweight division.
