To face Joe Warren at Bellator 161
Kakai will face Joe Warren at Bellator 161 on September 16.
ANALYSIS
Kakai has lost his last two fights, but will look to redeem him self against the 39-year-old Warren. Kakai has only lost fights by decision over his professional, and Warren has never lost by decision, so the 26-year-old bantamweight will need to come out aggressive in order to have a chance.

Sirwan Kakai: Drops Split Decision To Frankie Saenz At UFC Fight Night Nashville
Kakai lost to Frankie Saenz via split decision (27-30, 29-28, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Nashville.
ANALYSIS
Kakai was the far better conditioned fighter of the two, but he didn't do enough to pull out the win. It was a close fight and no one would have been shocked if Kakai had gotten the decision. Fighting for the second time in 42 days after defeating Danny Martinez in his UFC debut, Kakai suffered his first loss with the company. He's certainly not a title threat, but there are plenty of fighters in the UFC bantamweight division that Kakai can beat.

Kakai defeated Danny Martinez by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Hollywood, Florida.
ANALYSIS
It was a very nice UFC debut for the American Top Team product on short notice. Kakai's best weapons on Saturday were a few vicious knees and five takedowns. Every time it looked like Martinez was gaining momentum, Kakai stole it back. He was also very economical, landing 65% of his total strikes thrown. Kakai slowed a bit in the third-round, but he was clearly the better fighter on Saturday.
