Skrzat lost to Costello van Steenis via submission (strikes) at 2:52 of Round 1 at Bellator 185 on Friday in Uncasville, Conn.
ANALYSIS
Skrzat came out looking to wrestle in this fight. He scored an early takedown, and it looked like he would spend the rest of the round on top. Skrzat then went for a leg lock. This turned out to be a bad idea. Van Steenis used the opportunity to reverse the position and lock on a triangle choke from the back. From that position, he rained down elbows and strikes until Skrzat submitted. Skrzat has now dropped both of his Bellator fights.

Skrzat lost to Tim Caron via TKO (Strikes) at 1:22 of round 2 at Bellator 163 on Friday in Uncasville, Conn.
ANALYSIS
Skrzat appeared to struggled with Caron's footwork and wrestling from the opening bell. He had some success when he was able to close the distance and press his opponent against the cage. However, at distance he was at a large disadvantage. In the second round, Caron jumped in and landed a hook, which dropped Skrzat. From there it was only a matter of time until the stoppage.
