UFC debut leaves much to be desired
Sung-Bin lost to Daniel Teymur via unanimous decision (27-30, 28-29, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night 153 in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
It was a lackluster effort overall for Sung-Bin, who may have decided it was safer to wait to counter the wildly aggressive Teymur after feeling his power in Round 1. Unfortunately, this never materialized, leaving the debuting fighter looking frozen for the better part of the final two frames. Sung-Bin is clearly a strong, athletic kickboxer with an active guard, but his level of competition on the regional scene hasn't always been the strongest, so it will be interesting to see what adjustments he can make going forward. He falls to 9-1 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.

ANALYSIS
Sung-Bin is a prospect that has earned an undefeated record on smaller circuits, most recently picking up the interim featherweight title under the Top FC banner. He also holds a belt for Wardog Cage Fight, and has stoppages in all nine of his professional victories. He'll now get his chance in the UFC, first drawing the loser of three consecutive fights. He'll look to play spoiler against Teymur, who will be fighting in front of a hometown crowd in Stockholm.
