November 26, 2016
Zhikui lost to Jenel Lausa via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night Melbourne, Australia.
ANALYSIS
Zhikui was outmatched on the feet in this fight. He was game and continually came forward. However, Lausa was the much better trained striker. Zhikui was dropped in all three rounds and could never get his wrestling going. With this loss, he falls to 1-3 in the UFC and 2-3 as a professional. This was likely his last fight in the UFC for now.

Zhikui lost to Fredy Serrano via TKO (Elbow Injury) at 0:44 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night 79 on Saturday in Seoul, South Korea.
ANALYSIS
After fighting to split decisions in each of his first two UFC fights, Zhikui lost at UFC Fight Night 79 in quick, unfortunate fashion. During a Fredy Serrano takedown, Zhikui attempted to break his fall on his right arm. Instead, his arm appeared to dislocate dramatically, ending the fight in short order. Zhikui should require a prolonged layoff to recuperate from this injury.
