Most participants considered the BetMGM app to be a jack of all trades. It can do everything pretty well, but the app might be lacking one killer feature that sets it apart. Most were complimentary about the fair pricing and good odds. There were a few who seemed to believe the app itself wasn't quite as strong as some competitors, however.

To me, these numbers show the BetMGM app is a jack of all trades, but a master of none. It is one of only three betting apps in the country that received a 3.0 or higher in every single category, but it failed to crack the 4.0 range. The closest it came to doing so was the functionality of the app, as it was rated as one of the most reliable platforms in the industry. The various promotions were another strong point of the sportsbook.

Top Feature of the BetMGM App
The nine professional bettors we surveyed all agreed that the best aspect of the BetMGM app is its functionality. Simply put, the app does what you need it to do. It works well, there are minimal glitches, and it's very fast. It may not have a major unique selling point, but it's a rock-solid platform.
What We Think the BetMGM App Could Do Better
With that being said, the biggest weakness of the platform is its lack of a killer feature or standout option. It's a very average sportsbook across the board. That's not inherently a bad thing – it's actually a good signal. But there's just not a lot to separate it from the competition and make it a must-have app. The closest it comes is its the fact that you can convert points to spend at MGM hotels and resorts, but if you're not much of a traveler, that may not matter a whole lot to you.
