Sean Creech Motorsport has announced plans for a full-season IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship LMP3 program this year with a Ligier JS P320 Nissan. Barbosa and Lance Willsey are set to contest all seven rounds that make up the LMP3 schedule after entering the first three points-paying races of the 2021 campaign, sportscar365.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The team collected just one podium finish (Daytona) last season in a three-start schedule. They will run the full season schedule for LMP3 in 2022. Barbosa will once again head up the effort with Willsey also behind the wheel. The 46-year-old veteran has extensive experience and can help Sean Creech Motorsport improve their performance with the increased schedule.
