Corvette Racing was quickest in final GT Le Mans practice at Road America, with Gavin setting a 2:00.987 lap time in the No. 4 Chevrolet Corvette C8.R, sportscar365.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Corvettes picked up some speed over opening practice, and Gavin's No. 4 machine paced this final session. Gavin edged the No. 911 Porsche 911 RSR-19 of Fred Makowiecki, and Jordan Taylor in the sister-Corvette was a not-too-distant third for the practice. The No. 4 Corvette Racing team are coming off their big win at Sebring last round, and Gavin with his co-pilot Tommy Milner will look to challenge for the win again Sunday at Road America.
