Vanthoor emerged as the pole-sitter in GT Le Mans Saturday at Road America following a highly competitive battle for top honors in the session, sportscar365.com reports.

The No. 912 Porsche was fastest and paced a very competitive qualifying session in GT Le Mans. Vanthoor edged the No. 3 Corvette of Jordan Taylor by just 0.264-seconds to claim his first pole position of the season and the fourth of his career.
