Porsche has swept the front row in GT Le Mans for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, going 1-2 in qualifying on Friday morning. Pilet set the fastest time of the session, a 1:55.899, in his No. 911 car to go 0.143 seconds quicker than teammate Laurens Vanthoor in the sister 911 RSR, sportscar365.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It was all Porsche in GTLM Friday morning at Sebring. Pilet edged Vanthoor for the top starting spot in class, and made the front row all Porsche. The duo edged Antonio Garcia in the No. 3 Corvette for the top starting spots Saturday. It's the No. 911 Porsche team's second-straight pole to start the season. Pilet and his co-pilots will be top contenders for the win in GTLM.
