Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evos locked out the front row in GTD qualifying at Daytona, led by SunEnergy1 Racing's Habul, sportscar365.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Habul had an impressive qualifying session and piloted his Mercedes-AMG to the pole with a lap of 1:46.313, which was just two-tenths slower than the GT Pro pole lap. He beat out the No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes of Russell Ward. Habul and his teammates raced to a second-place finish in last season's Rolex 24, and they look strong once again.
