Dominant Victory at Sebring
IMSA
July 18, 2020
Pipo Derani and Nasr, in his racing return from COVID-19, have scored a dominant victory in Saturday's Cadillac Grand Prix of Sebring, sportscar365.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Outside of green-flag pit stops, it was an impressive wire-to-wire performance for the No. 31 Action Express Racing team. Derani started on the pole and peddled out to a big lead early on. Nasr would take over and mid-race and have no trouble keeping the big lead over second-place Ryan Briscoe in the No. 10 Cadillac. Nasr would take the checkered flag and give the team their first victory since the 12 Hours of Sebring last year. It was the Brazilian's fourth-career win in IMSA WeatherTech competition.
