Farnbacher went quickest for Meyer Shank Racing and Acura in the GT Daytona class for Saturday's Motul 100% Synthetic Grand Prix at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval, sportscar365.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It was a fiercely contested GTD opening practice at Charlotte. Farnbacher's 1:17.682 lap in the No. 86 Acura NSX GT3 Evo just edged the No. 14 AIM Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 of Jack Hawksworth. The practice was run in mixed dry-and-wet conditions which may well be the case later Saturday. Farnbacher and the MSR team are seeking their fifth podium of the season Saturday at the Charlotte Roval.
