Spengler claimed his second consecutive IMSA iRacing Pro Series win in another dominant result for BMW in Thursday's race at the virtual WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, sportscar365.com
It wasn't the runaway dominant performance that Spengler had at Sebring a few weeks ago. He had to work hard for this victory. Late in the race he would pass the No. 10 BMW of Nicky Catsburg with just 8 minutes to go in the 90-minute event. Spengler would hold off a late rush by Shane van Gisbergen to hang on for the victory. BMW once again took a podium sweep, headed by Spenger's second-straight IMSA iRacing Pro Series win.
