Leads GTLM Practice at Sebring
Porsche GT Team, in its final GT Le Mans class outing, went 1-2 in class, led by the No. 911 Porsche 911 RSR-19 of Makowiecki in Thursday's opening practice at Sebring, sportscar365.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Makowicki was just 0.374-seconds faster than his teammate, Laurens Vanthoor, in the sister Porsche entry. The duo beat out the No. 25 BMW of Connor De Phillippi to lead this opening session at the Florida road circuit. Makowiecki and his co-pilots registered a disappointing sixth-place finish in class at Sebring earlier this season, and they'll look to make up for that Saturday in the season finale.
