The Heart of Racing's Ross Gunn and Riberas came out on top in GTD Pro at Long Beach Saturday, benefitting from a drive-through penalty for the the No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette C8.R GTD, sportscar365.com reports.

There was high drama in the GT Pro class at Long Beach. A drive-through penalty for the strong No. 3 Corvette Racing team would take them out of contention. At that point Riberas would take control. He would pilot the team's Aston Martin to the finish and hold off a challenge from Ben Barnicoat in the No. 14 Lexus for the win. It was the Heart of Racing's first victory of the season and Riberas' third-career win.
