Silas is a free agent driver in 2018.
The journeyman driver had the best truck series campaign of his eight-season career in 2014. Silas raced the full schedule for the No. 99 Ford team and claimed his first pair of Top-10 finishes. He also avoided the DNF’s and posted his best average finish of 19.2, which led to a career-best 11th-place finish in the final point standings. While it wasn’t spectacular or impressive racing, it was consistent and competitive. T3R2 returns full-time in the upcoming season and they’ll keep Silas paired with crew chief Cal Boprey. The two made good strides last season and should continue to build this small team over the next 23 events.
