Pollard was fastest in Happy Hour practice for the ToyotaCare 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Richmond Raceway Saturday morning. He turned a fast lap of 118.136 mph.

ANALYSIS
The newcomer made a big impression in his first laps in the JRM No, 88 Chevrolet. Pollard led this lone practice ahead of pole qualifying at Richmond by beating out Josh Williams for the fastest lap of the session. He is a long-time veteran of late model stock racing and clearly knows how to get around a small oval. Pollard will be a threat to win later Saturday at Richmond Raceway.
