On Friday, McCumbee not only will be at Darlington Raceway for the first time in over seven years, he will be driving the No. 09 car for RAB Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series Royal Purple 200, The Sun reports.

Car owner Andy Hillenburg has a lot to look forward to in the following weeks in Daytona Beach. McCumbee will pilot one of two trucks that Hillenburg has entered in the Camping World Truck Series opener at Daytona, Fast Track PR reports.

Scott was fastest in second practice for the EnjoyIllinois.com 225 Camping World Truck Series race at Chicagoland Speedway on Thursday. He turned a fast lap of 171.761 mph.

SS Green Light Racing and driver McCumbee are hoping to extend their part-time schedule to the full 25-race Camping World Truck Series season, ssracingonline.com reports.
