LMP3 class at Daytona came down to a race of survival, with Andretti Autosport's Andretti and
Josh Burdon prevailing with a one-lap victory over the closest competitor,
sportscar365.com reports.
ANALYSIS
For a 100-minute race it would come down to a high attrition rate in the LMP3 class. Five of the nine cars in this class would experience problems or retired. Burdon would set the pace early and Andretti would bring the team home with the win over the No. 6 Muehlner Motorsports America Duqueine. Andretti Autosport will roll off first in class in next weekend's Rolex 24 at Daytona.
