Jimmy Vasser
Target Chip Ganassi Racing
Vasser came out of retirement and finished 10th at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Despite an opening in a third car with KV Racing Technology for the Indy 500, where he's a co-owner, he's doubtful to race in the Indianapolis 500. "I just don't see it as a good possibility," he told the Indianapolis Star. "But I'm intrigued about next year, especially with it being the 100th anniversary (of the Speedway)."
ANALYSIS
Vasser, the 1996 CART series champion, hadn't participated in an open wheel race in two years.
