Returning to IMSA in 2021
CORE autosport will return to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship next year with team owner Bennett coming out of retirement to pair up with longtime co-driver Colin Braun in the new-for-2021 LMP3 class, sportscar365.com reports.

It seems that Bennett's retirement will be short-lived. The owner/driver has put together plans to compete once again in 2021 and will enter a car in the newly-formed LMP3 class. Bennett and Braun have a long history together and will be one of the first entries into the new class. "I am thrilled," Bennett said. "Thrilled for the dedicated members CORE autosport who can now plan for an exciting 2021 season. Thrilled to rejoin the amazing Colin Braun at the controls of an IMSA LMP3 prototype.
