GEAR Racing is set to part ways with Grasser Racing Team, with the all-female lineup likely to skip at least the next two IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship races. Multiple sources have indicated to Sportscar365 that the Austrian squad has severed ties with the Mark Ruggieri-owned organization, which debuted in January's Rolex 24 at Daytona with Legge, Christina Nielsen, Rahel Frey and Tatiana Calderon.

Legge got her quest for a three-peat at Detroit off to the best possible start in topping the time charts in GT Daytona. Legge reeled off a 1:30.304 lap in the No. 57 Meyer Shank Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo, outpacing the Bryan Sellers-driven No. 48 Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 by 0.243 seconds, sportscar365.com reports.

Legge claimed her first career pole in GT Daytona at Laguna Seca, taking the championship-contending Meyer Shank Racing Acura NSX GT3 to the top. Legge reeled off a 1:24.456 in the No. 86 Acura to edge out points leader Madison Snow, in the No. 48 Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3, by 0.139 seconds, sportscar365.com reports.
