SunEnergy1 Racing will not take part in this weekend's Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca due to an illness for team owner/driver Habul. The U.S.-based Australian came down with a stomach virus on Saturday while at the Hungaroring for the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup, which forced both he and co-driver Tristan Vautier out of the remainder of the event, sportscar365.com reports.

SunEnergy1 Racing is absent from this weekend's Mobil 1 Sportscar Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, following the dissolving of its partnership with Riley Motorsports. Riley, which had run the Kenny Habul-owned operation since the start of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, was reportedly notified earlier this week that its services would no longer be needed, sportscar365.com reports.
