Estre (GT Le Mans) and Bill Auberlen (GT Daytona) led the way in opening practice for Saturday's Michelin GT Challenge at Virginia International Raceway, sportscar365.com reports.

Estre powered the team's Porsche past both Corvette Racing entries in this opening session at the Virginia circuit. His lap of 1:41.124 was 0.797-seconds faster than the No. 4 Corvette piloted by Nick Tandy. Estre is making just his second start of the season with the team. WeatherTech Racing is seeking their third victory of the season Saturday at VIR.
