Indianapolis 500 Start
Andretti Global announced that MAPEI, one of the world's leading manufacturers of chemical products for the building industry, will serve as the primary partner for the No. 98 MAPEI / CURB Honda driven by Andretti at the 108th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, IndyCar.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Andretti has been racing in just the Indianapolis 500 since moving away from full-time competition in 2020. The veteran driver will be attempting to make his 19th start at the Brickyard in May. He'll pilot a car specially set aside by the Andretti team for the occasion. Andretti finished 17th in last season's Indy 500 and will look to do much better later this season.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Andretti has shifted more and more away from the NTT/IndyCar Series and more into NASCAR over the past couple seasons. The veteran driver has made four combined starts between the Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series the past two years, and now he looks to expand even further into NASCAR in the upcoming season. Andretti has partnered with Roper Racing and Cook Racing Technologies to take on a 14-race slate in the ARCA Menards Series and seven events in the truck series. He'll pilot the team's No. 04 Ford and look to further develop his stock car talents. Andretti earned a couple Top-20 finishes last season in this division of NASCAR with Spire Motorsports, so there's little doubt he can race competitively.
