While Piquet Jr. looks happy being back in open-wheels and driving in one of FIA's main series with major exposure around the world, there's something that sit right on top of Nelson's mind and has him dreaming about a return to NASCAR, motorsport.com reports.

"I would love to return and would love to win a Truck championship and be the first Latin American to win a NASCAR championship, but all depends," Piquet said. "I mean, still have 30 years at least in my career and a lot can happen." Piquet lost his Xfinity Series ride after the conclusion of the 2013 season. He's been trying to revive his NASCAR career ever since. Piquet would drop whatever he's doing and run back to stock car racing, if given the opportunity.

The strength and depth of this team is enough to overcome the driver rotation that fills the seat. Mike Hillman Jr. should be back at the top of the team’s war wagon and calling the shots for its multiple drivers.
