Parker Retzlaff

20-Year-Old Driver
Jordan Anderson Racing
2024 Fantasy Outlook
The 20-year-old made a pretty good splash in his rookie season of 2023. Retzlaff piloted this small team to seven Top-10 finishes and a respectable 16th-place finish in the final standings. He even snagged a Top 5 in the season opener at Daytona last February. Jordan Anderson Racing has brought him back in 2024 for season two. Nothing appears to be changing about the team situation and sponsorship, so we'll truly get to see if Retzlaff can grow and improve on his first full Xfinity Series campaign. He doesn't have the speed to lead laps and challenge for wins with this team, but Retzlaff can increase his Top 10 numbers and improve his average finish position, which was a reasonable 17.9 last season. The youngster has the ability and means to secure some better performance in the upcoming season. Read Past Outlooks

XFINITY Series
March 30, 2024
Retzlaff won the pole for the ToyotaCare 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Richmond Raceway Saturday morning. He turned a fast lap of 120.248 mph.
ANALYSIS
Retzlaff picked up the pace considerably from the day's earlier practice session at Richmond and vaulted to the pole position for the ToyotaCare 250. The young driver beat out Brandon Jones to earn his first-career pole position at Richmond Raceway. Retzlaff looks like a Top-5 threat for Saturday afternoon's 250-lap battle at the Virginia short track.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Youngster Retzlaff will take over the No. 31 Chevrolet and replace Myatt Snider at Jordan Anderson Racing. Snider struggled to just four Top 10's in this car last season, so the option to move him out in favor of Retzlaff was made by the team. The 19-year-old talent made just nine starts last year between two different teams with one Top-10 and three Top-15 finishes to his credit. It was a good intro to this division of NASCAR and good setup to his first full-time action and rookie season. Retzlaff has been on a pretty steady climb up the NASCAR development ladder, despite not having stellar lower league stats and accomplishments. Still, being paired with this very capable race team makes the young talent an intriguing driver to watch in 2023.
