Paul Dana: Dies After Crash Sunday

Dana passed away following a two-car crash during the warmup for the season-opening IRL IndyCar Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway Sunday, ESPN reports.

ANALYSIS
The 30-year-old rookie crashed into Ed Carpenter at full speed, sending his car through the air. Following the crash, he was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami where he was later pronounced dead.
