2023 Fantasy Outlook
Perez walked away from the 2022 season with two first-place finishes and 305 championship points, coming away with third-place in the Driver's Championship as the second driver for Red Bull Racing. Due to his overall solid performance and repeated finishes inside the Top 10, Perez proved to be a reliable team player and was an instrumental factor in winning Team Red Bull the Constructor's Championship. However, the Mexican was not quite able to get the same level of performance out of the RB18 as his teammate, Max Verstappen, and found himself lacking in relative pace on a few occasions. Overall, Perez is expected to continue providing consistent podium finishes going into the 2023 season and is hoping to lock in a Top-2 finish in the Driver's Championship this year despite currently struggling to challenge Verstappen for the title.
