Dramatic Crash at Mid-Ohio
Pagenaud endured a dramatic incident in Turn 4 early in the 45-minute practice for The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio, IndyCar.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Pagenaud lost brakes early in this second practice at Mid-Ohio and would blow through turn 4 completely airborne. His car would flip on contact with the runoff area gravel and would barrel roll several times into the catch fence. The AMR safety crew would get to him quickly and halfway right the car to get Pagenaud free. He would wave to the crowd after walking away to signal he was all right. The team will prepare the backup car ahead of Saturday afternoon's pole qualifying session.
