Adam Aznou Injury: Plays 80 with U21s

Aznou (ankle) played 80 minutes in a match against Doncaster Rovers with Everton's U21 squad, according to his club.

Aznou is taking a step in his return from an ankle injury after he was able to feature in a U21 match for a solid 80 minutes. This does lead the defender towards a return in the next few days, likely to eye a team sheet when the team comes back from break. He will still look to ramp up his fitness ahead of time, with a possible return date of Sept. 13 against Aston Villa.
