Adam Wharton News: Late call to start
Wharton is available for Sunday's match against Brighton but is still dealing with some illness symtpoms, accoridng to manager Oliver Galsner. "Adam is still feeling his chest. He's not completely free. Sometimes you need to cough it out. I hope this will happen now. Let's see. It was good for him to play 30 minutes. I think he did better and better during the game. If it's enough to start against Brighton, I don't know at the moment."
Wharton was back from his illness midweek in Conference League play but is not fully recovered from his issues, with the midfielder still feelng some of the symptoms. This is something to monitor for the club, as he could miss the start if his limitations continue, with Will Hughes as a likely backup. However, with a few days to recover, he should still be likely to see that role, an everyday starter when fit.
