Alvarez has joined Monza on a season-long loan with an option to buy from Sassuolo.

Alvarez goes out on loan again after spending the previous campaign at Elche in Liga Segunda, recording eight goals and two assists in 37 matches. Instead, he didn't do much in his previous spell in Serie A.
