Alan Pulido Injury: Not traveling to Tijuana

Pulido will miss Friday's trip to Tijuana as he works on his recovery from muscular discomfort, the team announced Thursday.

Pulido is sidelined with an unknown return date, joining Chicharito on Chivas' injured forwards list. The experienced attacker had recently lost the starting position to Armando Gonzalez, who is expected to remain the top option while Teun Wilke and Cade Cowell offer backup on the bench. Prior to the issue, Pulido failed to score or assist from six shots (one on goal) and once chance created in four Apertura matches played.
