Alex Matos News: Transferred to Sheffield United

Matos has been transferred to Sheffield United from Chelsea, his former club announced.

Matos joined the Blues in July 2023 and made his first-team debut as a late substitute in a win over Fulham the following October. He spent the second half of that campaign on loan at Huddersfield Town, making 20 appearances and scoring once. Matos featured regularly for the Under-21s during the first half of the 2024/25 season before joining Oxford United on loan in January, where he played 21 matches.
