Alexis Mac Allister News: Returns in friendly

Mac Allister (undisclosed) was aiming for a return of injury in 10 days for the Community Shield but is already back on the pitch after coming on as a substitute in Wednesday's friendly against Yokohama.

Mac Allister is already back in action for the Reds following the complex injury that kept him off the pitch at the end of last season. The midfielder had been targeting a return for the Community Shield against Crystal Palace on Aug. 10 but now appears to be slightly ahead of schedule. This is a positive development as it gives him a chance to log minutes before the important match and continue building fitness ahead of the 2025/26 season.
