Alfie Gilchrist News: Departing Chelsea

Gilchrist has left Chelsea and joined West Bromwich Albion on a permanent transfer, his former club confirmed Friday.

Gilchrist returns to the Championship after making 31 appearances on a loan spell for Sheffield United between the Championship and the FA Cup during the 2024/25 season. The defender should see regular playing time in England's second tier, something that wasn't expected to happen at Stamford Bridge.
