Ali Avila Injury: Scores, suffers injury Friday

Avila scored a goal before leaving with a knock in the first half of Friday's match against Atletico San Luis.

Avila leveled the scoring through a right-footed finish in the 23rd minute but was unable to continue because of a blow to his knee during the derby. It was the third consecutive start for the striker, and the goal was his first of the season. Juan Robles took his place Friday, with the team lacking nominal No. 9 options given that Jesus Hernandez (undisclosed) was also injured.
