Seidu has been recovering from a long term ACL injury and was expected to be back in mid-September but is instead fit for the season opener against Marseille as he has been included in the match squad. This is good news for the Rennais since Seidu fully fit is a qualitative option for the backline and a candidate for a starting role. That said, after an ACL tear, the club will likely not rush him back.
