Alvaro Angulo News: Suspended for two games
Angulo will serve a two-match ban in league play due to the severity of the foul that earned him a red card in Friday's win over Queretaro.
Angulo is now forced to miss not only the upcoming clash against Necaxa but also the trip to Toluca, so he won't return to Liga MX action until an Aug. 24 meeting with Puebla. He has done a good job so far in two starts as a left-back who frequently pushes into the opposition half, but his disciplinary issues have been a considerable downside. The nominal replacement Pablo Monroy might assume an active role in the two games for which the Colombian is unavailable.
