Maksimovic has battled off a strain he suffered last week, as the midfielder was able to take the field for some training Tuesday. This does put him in a spot to return Friday for their season opener, likely needing to pass some testing. If fit, a bench spot will likely come to begin, needing to earn a role after he just transferred this summer.
