Anthony Gordon Injury: Available for opener

Gordon (ankle) is available for Saturday's opener against Aston Villa, according to manager Eddie Howe.

Gordon wasn't even mentioned by name by Howe, which suggests Gordon is fine and this was never really an issue as the player suggested on social media earlier in the week. If that's the case, Gordon will be in the XI for the opener with the other questions being who starts around him, as Jacob Murphy, Anthony Elanga and Harvey Barnes are fighting for the other attacking spots.
