Anthony Gordon News: Seven shots up front

Gordon generated seven shots (two on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 0-0 draw versus Aston Villa.

During the 2024-25 Premier League, Gordon not only logged six goals but also recorded 34 appearances. None of them saw him attempt more than five shots, which he surpassed Saturday. Perhaps his position can explain why, considering that up front for Newcastle was Gordon. At least temporarily, this may continue to be the case if the Magpies cannot sign anyone else in place of Alexander Isak (transfer).
