Anthony Gordon News: UCL appearance includes goal

Gordon (suspension) scored one goal with one shot during Newcastle United's 2-1 loss Thursday against Barcelona.

For the UEFA Champions League, Gordon is not suspended. So unsurprisingly, all of the Newcastle-Barcelona game included him. In more ways than one, the circumstance benefited Gordon, whose consolation goal is a last-minute effort. For the Champions League, his previous and only other season's six appearances include zero goals.
