Antony News: Returns in Leagues Cup

Antony (hamstring) made his return from injury in Wednesday's defeat against Club America in the Leagues Cup.

Antony missed the last six MLS games due to a hamstring injury that had kept him sidelined since mid-June, but that issue is now behind him after he returned in Wednesday's Leagues Cup game against Club America and played 40 minutes. This is great news for the Timbers since Antony is an undisputed starter in the frontline when fit and one of the main goal contributors on the team. This season, he has already surpassed his total from last year with 11 goal contributions in 18 MLS appearances.
