Armando Broja Injury: Could be available Saturday

Broja (undisclosed) could be an option to play Saturday against Sunderland, manager Scott Parker told media during his pre-match press conference Thursday. "Armando is now another week down the line, so he's got some more work in which I am really pleased about. He is edging to possibly being involved at the weekend."

Broja completed a transfer to Burnley in early August and has been building up his fitness since joining training. Parker's latest words seem to suggest there's an outside chance for the Albania international to crack the squad Saturday. Broja spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Everton but only managed 10 appearances.
