Arthur Masuaku Injury: Not fit yet

Masuaku has to work on his fitness in the coming days and will be assessed on a daily basis until being fit and ready for Sunderland, coach Regis Le Bris told the media, according to The Northern Echo. "We'll see. Every day we will make an assessment of their level and see how far we can push them through the training sessions. Lift the intensity, the contact. If they react well, they can then join the squad. If they don't react well, we wait one day, two day and assess again. So we will see for next week."

Masuaku is not fully fit after joining his new club Sunderland and will need to build his condition in the coming days before joining the squad. The defender will be assessed on a daily basis until a positive development is found and he can join the match squad for his return in the Premier League.
